Same here. I don't want to take my 1900 dress off lol. Seriously, this is a major achievement. And I'm a Londoner.

Fantastic work.

Yes, Olde London is incredible. It's amazing what you can do with 14K prims, isn't it? Last night I was there and the sim FPS was about 50 - I could barely move! But when it's not all laggy it's truly incredible. The Neverland sim is great too, so much fun and incredible things to see. Made me want to play like a little kid again.

But I'm beginning to think Morgaine is right - SL needs a way to put more horsepower under sims that are running more prims with more avs. It's silly to have the same amount of processing dedicated to an empty sim with no one in it as to a sim with a horde of 50 avs. Until the Lindens figure out a way to scale things effectively, the potential of works like Neverland will remain unrealized.

Don't take this as a neg response to Neverland or its builders - I'm so impressed! I just want to be able to play in it without lagging.

This place is marvelous. I wandered all of it and loved it. Kudos to you wonderful designers, builders, clothiers. Thank you all. And I second that on the bicycle and the great clothes.

I finally went to have my first trip there today. I say "first", because of course I'll go back. And to whomever hasn't visited it yet... what the hell are you waiting for?? :D

Any environment that has both Peter Pan and Jack the Ripper can't be all bad! :D

Seriously, this is one of the best builds I've seen in SL, and I recommend it to everyone.
I'm sure I'll be back for more.

:) :) :)

I just went to Olde London an to Neverland last night for the first time....... OMFG WOW!!!! True there were people complaining about lag issuses but its nothing I have never heard before in a ton of other games. I was in Olde London with 50+ people there an I hardly lagged at all, but thats just me. :)) I was/am totally blown away at not only how great the places look, but also its feel. As I live in Portsmouth, NH in the USA, I was actually blown away when some of the streets an buildings looked like they were modeled after parts of my own town (an I dont even live in england).......

I so felt at home......... An I totaly agree with Tanaquil above........ If anyone hasn't gone there an experianced the wonders of those places, well what are you waiting for? An ingraved invatation??? Hmmmm. Perhaps thast a good idea...... Hey Lindens, create some "engraved invatation's" and just pass em out to everyone in SL.... :)

My only suggestions are create a actual old london "club" where we could all go an party together and open spots where some of us can either open stores or actually rent a place to stay the night, like an actual mansion or inn for instance.............

This has the potential for something trully wonderful; even more so then it is....... Create a "china town", or a "mother goose land", or better yet for the seasons.......... The North Poll where we could all go an pay santa a vist!!!! :) HO HO HO :) :)

Im gonna return soon thats for dam sure........ An as always............. Peace.............

Adam.................

I just wanted to add my superlatives to those already here. As I ventured through all the chapters, I'd find myself thinking, "I don't want this to stop." It is even more wonderful than OZ, and I never thought I'd be able to say that. Roaming London and finding all the surprises and places there is SO much fun. And Neverland is PERFECT. And the flight - "first star to the right and straight on...." what fun!! Thank you SO much Spellbound, and thank you Lindens for supporting this wonderful project.

Great Job Spellbound!!!

Asha, for one's you took in SL just open the texture and go to File > Save Texture (i think that's it). you can also take hi res snapshots to your hard drive for free. it's File > Save Snapshot to Disk or the "~" key.

LOL

Speaking of the trolly pushing, yesterday I saw the most funny thing in Olde London. Two of my friends got into a car and started driving. Unfortunatly the ver first thing they did was get in the way of the trolly! You you guessed it... BANG!!!!! The trolly hit the car broadside an proceeded to push it AND my 2 friends (who were panicing I might add) all the way to the other end of the street (The entire length)!!!!!! It was so funny I actually fell out of my chair laughing so hard! :)

Bet they wont temp fate like that again anytime soon thats for sure.... I'm just glad it did not clear the street of people, as it almost took out some pedestrians too......... London rocks!!!! Don't beleave me? Just ask the trolly!!!!!!

Madiera since you are waiting so eargerly for my relavent post, I'd figured I'd give you a appatizer to tide you over......... Was it good? Here have a cookie...... *Passes Madiera a plate full of her favorite cookies* There not as good as the cookie I gave you in game earlyer (hehehe) but they will do in a pinch.......... :) :) :)

An guys, don't ask what kind of cookie I gave her either, I dont kiss an tell........ HoHoHo
JK

An Torley, the only way anyone would NOT look at your ass is if they were dead! Im not dead an I got a real good look at it too hehehe......... Cant blame anyone can ya?

TY Zuzi, see if I do this right ;-)

First one is me robbing the bank still wearing my tinkerbell pom pom's on my shoes, second using the scripted sword I found in the maze, third I'm tinkerbell in Neverland with a lost boy.

This experience was incredible. Just to go up to the Darling's nursery and fly out the window....wow....

And you even made the London sewers! What detail!

I found myself getting tears in my eyes as I travelled around Neverland. I truly felt like a kid.

If only this place could stick around longer than 5 weeks. Wow....

Maybe Wonderland could be next? Or (dare I say it) Hogwarts?
