This weekend, (9/10 and 9/11), ALL sales from Luskwood Creatures will go directly to the Red Cross, to assist the victims of hurricane Katrina.
(If you've already bought an avatar on Saturday, you've already donated.)
That is, for every av bought, you are essentially donating ~$3.25 US directly to the Red Cross. Not some shady charity, and this is not "after expenses" or anything like that. 100%, of all sales on 9/10 and 9/11 will go to the cause.
There is also an option to donate directly if you do not wish to buy an avatar; but if you were thinking about it, now would be a good time to do it.

We raised US $528. Earth shattering no, but it was short notice and it's amazing for Luskwood in one weekend: people definitely came out and did this for the cause. and it should get some people some help.
So really, thank you everyone who helped. Its good to know that this can be done when there's a need. |
