I have been noticing that with the newer updates when I move, create objects, etc. These odd, colored rings appear, sometimes at random. I find them very annoying.
1. Is it just me?
2. If not, what is the purpose.
3. Possible to disable?

if they're blue (minor), red (major) and um green? (delete), you might be seeing updates. there's an option in the view menu to toggle the feature off and on.

i have noticed when updating SL that the automatic updater always crashes. i always have to manualy download from the website. its been doing this since the 1.6 preview
