About downtime for updates....
it's all very well you doing it at 6am till noon... but bearing in mind that I'm in the UK, that's actually the exact and only timeslot I can use it, so effectively you're saying that I can't log into SL at all today.
No fair!

I'm gonna use the downtime to go to the cinema with my boyfriend and watch Revolutions, which I've been promising to do since it came out. Of course, I won't tell him SL is down...

yes.. as another brit i too will have to find something else to do this afternoon/early evening. it is desperate. i am at work right now and having to actually do some work rather than being in-world (with one carefully trained eye open for my boss.. ho ho)..
still.. hopefully such a big update will fix some stuff, expand some stuff and give us a little more breathing space.

Well I am in California myself and I guess I will just shock my boss and be on time this morning! Sheesh I hope we don't make a habit of this!

Marilyn - too far south not Greece/greek but far north to Norway/Norwegian Cai - that was amazing! Even for you This is the correct translation (so you can all see how close Cai was to get it all correct): Jippi!! Min første landsmann jeg har *møtt* i SL Håper vi møtes in-world også! Yippie! My first countryman I have *met* in SL Hope to meet you in-world as well!

Even though I'm in the US, I'm on the east coast and this outage surrounds my usual lunchtime play-session. I'm thinking about delaying my lunch so I can get on at 3pm local time when the game comes back up..... But I'm always happy to give up a bit of game time if that means the subsequent game time has more features and fewer bugs! Three cheers for upgrades!

I will just sit here in front of my comp slack-jawed, eyes glazed over, with a blank look on face, while I wait for SL to come up. Basically same thing I do when I'm actually playing.
