I have a few situations that have me strung out lately.
- The refugees from Katrina will dispersed throughout texas, and a few thousand will end up in Dallas. I'm not actively helping them, but I get the feeling the same lawlessness and chaos currently in nola will spread.
- My computer is getting more and more troublesome and my replacement is not arriving for another week,
- I haven't had the time to try and fix RmAV the way it should be fixed. I won't have the time to crash course on php code or try and fix it myself for another couple of weeks.
- I'm only getting a new CPU. I'm still using the blurry-ass 15in. monitor from when I scrounged this machien together nearly a year ago from spare parts. I'll need to get a monitor and likely a graphics card (that's only a couple hundred bucks I won't have). So I might be abscent from SL for a bit too until I can afford new parts.

I'm looking at my options for the site, because I know I've already invested more than I'm going to get back from it. I could sell it, if anyone would want to buy it. I could take the site down for awhile then restart it, hopefully with a fully working codebase. I could leave it as it is, with sporadic upload problems and things not working quite right.... (paid... money... for... site code..... never again!) .

I'm not doing anything to the site for another day or two. I just thought I'd let peopel know what was up before I did anything. I'm probably just depressed right now with all that's going on. I don't know. Thoughts? Suggestions? Offers?

Oh. And for the two people that bought banners, I will be force-implementing them after I work around the busted code.

In your shoes, I'd close it for later reoppening when circonstances are better.

I'd just chill out.

Life is ups and downs.

When you're up, you're never up as high as you think you are - and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again.
