Simply start another account. Five avatars are allowed per credit card.

Their alts are extremely cheap, but known to have a highly addictive quality to them. 2. Cloning facility. There are several in SL, but are usually hidden or have heavy security. I believe Aimee Weber would be the person to contact with this option, though your alt would probably end up looking just like her. 3. Time Travel. By using one of several in-world time travel methods, you can create duplicates of yourself; actually yourself from deifferent time periods during your AVs life. Then using "Appearance", you can alter them to appear as someone else. You might ask Torley about this... 4. Buy another Second Life account. You can purchase up to 5 accounts using a single credit card. These can be premium accounts, or basic accounts using the one time $9.95 option. There may be other ways as well. I hope this helped.

From: Oerbewustzijn Archer How can you make or get a alt avatar If by any chance you simply meant how can you have a different AVATAR not necessarily having a new NAME: You can look within your Inventory at the top is a Library folder; check out the Clothing folder within that and there are several male and female avatar shapes and costumes/avatars. You can use any of those and create many different looks and save each one as a separate avatar to wear anytime when you want to look different. Feel free to contact me if you need any help creating some avs for yourself  There is no limit (that I know of) to how many avatars/different looks you can have for your name (or each alternative accounts/names). Enjoy!
