I got a glitch--again--with my 'puter' and cant get into SL, stuck out here reading the fourms. I have read everything you all been tossing around.
Anything else interesting going on? My luck, my 'puter' wont be fixed till tomorrow late.
Im bored and lonley, someone want to flame me -- go ahead -- I need a project.

MAN the Tangster got it bad, It got in her bios and OS we put a new drive in and wam within 24 hours 50 popups every 60 seconds with 10 or so being crashes. one badazz bug. We had to get the bios cleaned from someone above our level Waves Loves Tang  |

My child is in love with her new computer. I think I've turned her into a geek, finally.
Course she's 18 and not really a child. But it's about time she got geeky for her own self instead of relying on me. I mean, four different people have relied on me for all their computer stuff for years, and I'm not even techy! Now it's true love between her and her Dell Inspiron 700. Really! I'm amazed. She's alwas put down computers because that's what MOM did, so it had to be nerdy. Which it is. Oh well. ANYWAY, I'm thrilled to see her finally geeking out!
What can one do to prevent getting that virus you are talking about? Or to discover if it is there?

opening your web browzer all you get is //aboutblank URL
and a search page....... And then they come.bump bumpm bumpmm
10,000 crashing popups, And I dont care what your running it will not stop this one.
only thing out there is 1/2 azz fix/ reg repair and a 50 /50 chance of cleaning without reformating.
not sure, we had protection but Tang still got infected. went to a seedy backroom and some guy said he could clean this whole mess up for a fee.
oh oh the ::Aboutblank virse not sure but if you do a search tons on it.
its real and hurts
we covered my hard drive with foam and latex but seemed to pass right though
I thought I knew aboutblanks. been shooting them for years
But still she got infected

I had a problem like that on my first computer. (the computer was crap) I think it was just a changed homepage? Something like that. Reinstalling IE (I used IE back then) solved the problem I think. But it might not be the same thing.
