Ok after weeks of trial and error im losing my mind *screams* iv been looking for a ripping program that rips directly to .mov format but offcourse theres like zero for pc their all for macs so i gave up on that. sooo ripped from dvd to various formats mpeg , mpeg 2, divx , you name then had planned on using quicktime pro to go from there only problem is qt pro opens like zero avi codecs and doesnt seem to understand mpeg audio sooo i scratched that.. so now im using adobe premire to encode from Divx to Quicktime which seem's to work fairly well althought im not sure what height width i should use to keep file size down while still being watchable on a in game Movie Screen. and yes the movie im trying to rip is public domain before anyone goes down that road lol annnyway i know there are a few of you out there who encode your own films to show in game if you could give me any tips it would be greatly appreacated bascially the server i will be using to stream said movies has a file size limit of 2.4 gigs so im trying to keep it below that. lol oh how i wish SL had Divx support also which qt codec would be best for in game streaming ? keeping file size in mind. thank you for anyone who may help out
