umm, i don't remember seeing a poll about completely changing the forums set-up.. do you?
does ANYONE like the new way this is set up?
now i'm completely lost.. crap..
not that i'm not a big boy and can't find my way around, but.. why was there no announcement about this? or even asking us if we would want it to happen?
i've been happy with SL as a whole, both in-world and out.. but now.. this forums upheaval is disturbing..
and the forum names!?! say what!?!? was this supposed to be EASIER???

edit: i understand the forums were getting really negative, but i don't think re-naming, shifting and shaking things up as much as an earthquake... wait... earhquake.. California based company... maybe this DOES make sense..
nah.. i always thought of the SL community as the intelligent ones.. regardless of trash talk between a few select members.. please LL, treat us fairly, we're not a normal gaming community that just goes along..
LL.. you guya are going to shoot yourselves in the foot one too many times .. please, we're all grown ups here.. you can talk ti us about these things.. it's your company, but without us it would be your money pit.. remember us when you're going to make changes like this..
disclaimer: i'm sorry my words are not quite succint, but i'm getting flabbergasted by the increasing There-ness of SL!!!

Yes, the changes are confusing. I love it. If fourms must exist make them as hard as possible to use.
Please consider adding more headings, remove the search and find new post tools, hiding the fourm link from the main web site, and making the text entry field 256 characters max.
I think you should dump the thing all together though. The SL world would be a happier place.

If SL dumped the forum we would band together and make a new one, its part of the world now and not easily removed, surgicly or otherwise.

I just logged out to see what an anon user can see. Why am I not surprised that this forum, the M forums, and the off topic forum aren't visible to the public? Especially this one. I'm betting when a flamefest develops the full thread is going to get moved here. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I can certainly understand the Lindens being concerned about someone who has never heard of second life and finds the forums only to read 200 posts about a night club, church or donation box and all the personalities involved.

Vive Le Confusion? As it seems this is.  I want the old stuff back along with the new, Old titles and such, this new stuff is just rediculous and makes it harder to find anything.
