I just logged in to discover myself almost naked and no inventory in a series of new virgin sims with a few Avatars I've never seen before. The names of the new sims, which are mostly coastal and quite rugged, are: Griffon, Fama, Cordova, Bethel, Apollo, Callao,Byron, Evelyne, and Euphemia. The other ones I hadn't got to when we went down again, but it was pretty nice to look at.

Gosh, that means that the world is already set up to double in size when the time comes!

I wonder why it takes them so long (to the tune of months!) to plug in new servers that are already available.

Well, we knew that Mauve and Chartreuse were next on line, but I didn't get a chance to see if the new sim region I was in was at all connected to any of Argent, Bisque, Crimson, Indigo, Magenta, Maroon, Periwinkle, Purple or Umber, which are the other new sims we know about.

They are not color names? Thank goodness. Try typing Chartruese, heheh. I am sorry I changed my log-in to home or I might have seen them too. Nothing like coming back home in your bathing suit, dark glasses and no way to change!! That will teach us to dress before we go to bed.

I was told by - I'm thinking it was Haney, but it was a good couple of weeks ago - that a BIG complaint amongst trial members who choose not to stay is that no one is ever around in SL, so they are trying to get a certain saturation of the existing sims. Having been in there.com, though, I found everyone clumped together in pathetic groups, for lack of anything to do besides chat; we are more free-spirited, here in SL, so we are not going to group like that all the time.

Pituca, I was expecting to log into my own home in Tehama, since I keep forgetting to set home to Mauve. (and I'm not sure I ever want to tell people that I live there or Chartreuse, lol) I just guess the whole world is down now, though...

Yeah, we need to achieve the right balance between use of the sims and available land. It's a lot more fun when there are at least a couple of other people in your area, but not so many that the sim lags or the prim count is full. I am glad they have waited on plugging in the rest of the servers, because frankly the north end of the world still has plenty of room to roam.

Well, Bethel, Cordova and Byron are all cities in Alaska
![]() That's probably not it though. Try using http://labs.google.com/sets to determine what they all have to do with each other ![]() |

Well, I was quick enough to grab landmarks, and even though I couldn't teleport to them, the new sims are (or will be) just south of Gibson.
