I think PayPal also offers a physical card that is somehow linked to your checking account through them. So that might be worth a look too.

aurelie, you may want to look into the paypal card thing. i know paypal serves non-US customers as well, and i'm 99.9% sure that includes canada... don't know if the paypal debit card is available for non-US customers though. i've got one, and it works like either an ATM card or a MasterCard.

Yea, sadly its US only.
PayPal if offered to Canadian citizens, but we can't get the card.... hmm...... _____________________

i don't know about canada, but here in the US, almost every major bank offers ATM/Check Cards, which are ATM cards with a Visa or MasterCard logo, and can be used like a Visa/MC, including age verification, but simply debit money from your checking account instead of running up a balance that charges interest. perhaps you should check around with banks in your area and see if they offer ATM/Check Cards.
