Some of you may have noticed that my post counter started over. Apparently there was a problem Tuesday and something at LL was fried wiping all the personal information and any saved private messages as well as de-linking all of the posts of quite a few people..

How it was handled was giving me a new customer number and basically the system thought I was a brand new user. I redid all of my personal information but it is not apparently highly doubtful that any of my posts will be re-linked with my account, the result being that I can’t go back and look up what I may have said about something.

I know that maybe it is kinda silly but after over a year of posting on this forum and 2,500 or so posts it is somewhat distressing to have all of that history go poof. I am curious if this happened to anyone else that frequents the forums or was it my bad luck alone?

Funny, I saw some of your posts in threads yesterday that listed you as "guest" and did not even have a post count but instead had question marks.

I wondered what happened, I could not imagine that you would do anything bad enough to ever get a permanent ban and for them to clear all your posts as well. (And I mean that sincerely Billy). :)

The last software upgrade to the forums wiped out several hundered of my posts but not all of them and not my personal information, though I did lose emails, but those mysteriously came back.

Ah well, there is at least one good thing - you can celebrating hitting the 69th, 666th and 1000th posts all over again. :D

Gonna be harder for those who dont like you much to dig up things youve said and use them out of context. :)
