Hello everyone, my name is Mickey Dawn, and I am playing Second Life since 3 days now. I've read a lot of post about all kind of subjects, and I just wanted to give my opinion on a newbies's life.

First, being a newbie in SL is very funny... I met more people on SL that I probably did in my whole life (a little exageration, but you know what I mean). I met the Harolds, Evie (the Island girl), Viola Bach (she gives really nices courses) and a lot of other people wich I really dont remember the names. But all I have to say is that I received all the attention/answer that I deserved. No one as never been crude or bad with me.

I had the opportunity to speak with Linden member at least 4 or 5 times since I started, and they were VERY friendly, and they answered all my (good) questions in a professional manner.

Being a newbie with this "game" is very hard though. The lurning curve is not easy, and I still have a lot to learn, but everyone has been so cool and nice with me, that I decided to buy a subscription only after 2 days of play.

I wanted to say thank you to all my (new) friends to be so smart and cool. This world really rock!

What Mickey said! lol

I could have written that post about my experiences so far. :)

Its good to see that the new user experience seems to be a great one for most people.

I'm probably one of the most anti-people people you'd meet in real life. It's a lot to do with where I live and the attitudes that prevail there. Which is why SL is such a great way of escaping to somewhere where everyone seems so nice!

SL has gone a long way to restoring my faith in humanity in 3 short weeks... although I'm not actually ready to face RL yet. I'll stick with what is undoubtedly the better existence.

So like the man said - thanks, fellow SLers!
