Have you ever participated in a drinking game in secondlife?

Do you think it is a good idea?

If it is a good idea, why don't we have more?

If it is a bad idea, is this a fundamental problem with the MetaVerse? Not being able to drink and have fun with your buds?

I'm not really into drinking lately but I used to do a lot of pub crawls with my friends.

And while pixel sex is a potential replacement (the mind, after all, is the most erotic organ), I'm not so sure the same applies to drinking as drinking alone can be quite risky. Not to mention probably very very difficult to explain to spouses, partners and roommates.

Other drugs, I suppose, which aren't as dangerous are OK but they are illegal.

Sorry have to say it...how do you tell the drunk in a secondlife drinking game.
He wants to drink everytime he sees one of the following:
1) animation
2) Textures
3) Prims
4) "pose balls"
5) avatars

1 avie, 2 avie, thre avie, floor

Get uninhibited. Keep your fingers on the home-keys. Your 'buds' remove themselves from your friends list.

On the other hand, I am Irish. Wana go? :D

I'd heard it was: "Don't drink and post in the forums. It's an accident waiting to happen."

Oh gawd, David ends up smooching me during truth or dare!

SL drinking games are fun sometimes. For my first SL b-day party, a bunch of us got an early start and had a hell of a party. It was a blast. I still think we should do a pub crawl through SL as an event some day.

From the Pint Pot in Taber to the Bellevue in Chase's Manhattan (is that still there?!) to the Angry Dragon in Indigo... and all spots in between. :-)

Regards,

-Flip

If I recall correctly, wasn't LordFly going to organize just such an activity? So far, I think two threads (perhaps more) have been dedicated to imbibing. I think thumbscrews need to be applied. :)

Careful, last time I attended one of those drinking games in SL I woke up the next day and discovered that I'd been transformed into naked wolverine and was locked in a cage in someone's dungeon.

Hubby didn't speak to me for a week. :D

Oh and I had to apologize to the owner of the tiny critter - who's prim bits were scattered from one corner of my cage to the other. :o

Drinking games (involving alchohol) sound incredibly idiotic to me.

They are! Indeed. Totally childish. Immature. Wasteful. Gluttonous. ;)

However, these are some of SL's virtues. :)
