I have a quick question... Is there any way to run our own server so we can continue to work on something after the server goes down?

There isn't any way to run your own server or 'sim' at this time as far as I know, you can stay online as long as you want after the designated hours unless they kick you off the sim or you crash/logout and can't get back in, however.

No I don't personally know, I don't keep up very well but the last I heard they're not really sure when and by how much they'll increase the hours of operation. Currently, they use the 'offline' time to do much needed upgrades/bug fixing, so when beta starts to lighten up and they feel comfortable with it I'm sure they'll start to open up more. Will be just joyous when it's open 24/7, huh? maki

By the way, if you search through older posts you can find numerous ones regarding the hours, in most cases you can see other SL'ians views and some of the linden's comments. Might help answer your question more.. maki
