Ok now before I start I want you all to know I am not doing this just to stir trouble. I have had many request and inquiries about a gay group so I just decided to start one.
So……. Introducing The Stonewall group. It started tonight, and you don’t need an invite to join. The group is named after that group of brave souls who stepped out and stepped up so many years ago. The meetinghouse will be The Open Flame for now it can be found at Perry 214,244.
After this week, we will be having weekly gatherings at the clubhouse feel free to join even if it’s just to visit and see what’s up.
There are a few very simple ground rules. Perry is a PG sim so all activity must be at PG level. Since hate is not a family value, guns and weapons will not be welcome at our gatherings. The same will be the same for hate speech. Please if you don’t like what we are doing just don’t come (easy as pie).
I am probably going to get questions about this so just let me answer them here. I don’t wear my orientation on my sleeve it’s just what I am. I am out everywhere so I am out in SL. I am not trying to shove it down anybodies throat. In fact, if ya don’t like us gay folks ok. I am not going to try to force my convictions on you. I won’t be around you at all.
There are more of us in Second Life than you might think, and just like there are car clubs, and fight clubs and game clubs(we even have an Anime group) we are going to have a gay group. It’s really is no big deal.
So COME OUT COME OUT WHEREEVER YOU ARE. BE LOUD BE PROUD.
