We each have our own 'favorite' permissions settings when we are creating something, right? But, are your favorite and my favorite the same? Probably not, so why are we stuck with a uniform permissions settings? This proposition would give us a few checkboxes in the Preferences window that would allow each of us to override the standard permissions settings and create new default permissions that meet our needs.
Please, please, please donate one of your votes for this if it would help you save time or to better manage your creations!!
Here's a link to the proposal #356, titled: Ability to set default permissions settings in Preferences

I will vote for this as soon as I have votes available. (which will be some time in 2043, at the speed things are going.)

I like the idea - alas I squandered my votes on wine, women, and amateur dramatics... well actually a linux client -- but once they make that puppy, I'm on this.

I know I'm late bringing this to the table, but reserve a vote for this one!
And Siggy... spending a vote on wine, women and amateur dramatics isn't squandering - it's an investment!
