I've been around for about a week, but I decided to stop lurking the boards and post a bit. ;^)

My name's Yuniq (that's pronounced "unique", not "eunuch". I found Second Life through a posting one of the Lindens made on another website. What can I say? I'm hooked already.

Building's nice and all, and it's what I spend most of my time on after closing when most people are gone. But frankly, I've done a lot of building and modifying work in most of the games I play, so while SL's miles beyond my other games in terms of possibilities, it's only a small part of what's hooked me.

Allow me to say: you guys are great. I'm a sucker for COMMUNITY in my games, and needless to say, SL's got it in spades. Everybody is great, and I don't just mean the builders, the action buffs, and the roleplayers... it's the people who don't even consider SL a game that I find the most intriguing. They're the people I don't find anywhere else, and I'm glad to have them around.

Anyhow, you'll see me around; I'm at most of the events. Just look for the chick with light blue hair. ;^) I'm also occasionally working on my house in Lusk... I'm just hoping it didn't get messed up by tonight's nasty crash on my end at exactly 10pm... grr...
