...do we actually get paid for the votes in the festival sims? Or are the sims not officially 'on grid'? I ask cuz, well:
IM: Voting Station, v1.4: 22 votes received yesterday! Second Life: Congratulations! You won $90 for receiving 13 votes at your voting station(s) last night.
I lost the payout for 22 votes! Most votes I've ever gotten for anything on a single day.
Anyone else have this? Or is it just the voting stations being wonky again?

I got 5 votes in Gray yesterday and I didn't get any money for it. There's another thread somewhere that people occasionally post in saying they weren't paid for votes. It seems not being paid is a fairly common occurrance.

i think that other thread is Yuki's too if i'm not mistaken. voting is definitely weird and payoffs are weirder even with v1.4 vote things. i got paid for 27 total votes the other night and if you add up all the votes it said i got it was only like 15. makes a nice change from getting 18 votes and only being paid for 12 total.

Heh, yes indeed it is my thread over in Technical Issues. But I wasn't sure if this was an issue about the sims being up temporarily or if it was normal voting station probs.

well i didint get paid for my votes in the burning man sim either. that was day before yesterday. I wasnt on yesterday due to a death in the family. They need to check the logs after all we are all going to have to pay taxes on the prims in the burning man simulator a few bucks a day will help to offset those costs folks. I will see ya on the other side soon enough CatC

IM: Voting Station, v1.4: 20 votes received yesterday! IM: Voting Station, v1.4 (mini): 5 votes received yesterday! IM: Voting Station, v1.4: 1 votes received yesterday!
This voting booth problem is getting even worse. I got a big honking $0 for ANY vote stations. As Catherine says, this voting station money helps offset the cost of the taxes on the prims in the festival sims.
Sorry to go over this in the General Discussion forum, but this forum gets more traffic and maybe more folks'll speak up to say that theirs are broken too.

You people worry too much about money. I'm probably privileged in that my voting station has been paying me every single day, but heck, you know what? Spending all my money on prims for my Temple of Questioning at the BLF made me gain over a thousand dollars, even after taxes.

I'm actually not too concerned about the money, really. I'm more pointing out that the stations are broken because some people in lower income brackets do depend on the money, and they may not be realizing they're not getting it. Until a better system is in place, the current one should at least work consistently
