I was all set this morning (meaning sometime around noon, which is what I consider to be "morning"

to post something slightly amusing, but mostly whiney about my online status.

Then I checked my email, and oh look, there's a nice long one from BBC.

I've been crying off and on ever since.

You guys are The Best.

I can never thank y'all enough.

I'll be back in world just as soon as the new dish is installed.

[ ok, here's the reader's digest version of the whiney bit of what I originally intended to post, minus the slightly amusing part: can't get cable internet here after all, can't get DSL, am currently stuck SHARING 56k dialup with Mr. Shebang! We're ordering a new dish to be installed ASAP which I guess means I'll be the first (?) person to play SL via satellite ]

Glad to hear your all moved and kinda settled in. I wouldn't complain to loudly about only having 56K. From the sounds if it, your lucky you have a phone!!

You could get point-to-point 802.11b gear and set it up with someone who can get broadband access. I have a link somewhere if you are interested in that thought.
