Apology to Vershean...

Vershean, I wanted to say I'm sorry for being so catty to you at Darwin's event last night. While I do not agree with your methods of advertising, I can respect the fact that you're excited about making furniture and clothing and wish to advertise.

There is nothing wrong with being entrepreneurial and eager, far from it. However, if I might make a suggestion... perhaps offering people the landmark to your place and letting them make the decision of purchasing your items would be a lot less 'in your face' than asking every two minutes at several public events. Please do not take this as a demand, mearly a tidbit of advice.

At any rate, I hope we can make amends and start over. Best of luck in your budding business!

I can vouce for Lyra, she really is the sweetest most genuine soul you could want to know. If she said anything offensive I am sure it was not intended to be percieved in such a manner. If you seek truly gifted people, and genuine friends in SL, I can say Lyra is definately one I am honored to be associated with.

Thanks Phay, I really appreciate it... I'm twice as lucky to have such a talented and sweet lady for my friend.

I've been more than a little snippy lately, and while I'm not going to make excuses for it, I am going to do my best to keep my mood nice and level.

I would, in a semi-related vein, like to extend my own apology for any excessive use of "attitude" during Saturday evening's altercation out in Hawthorne/Shipley.

I know I verbally snapped more than once and Lyra was one who, at one point, asked me to "chill." I hope my defensiveness was understood - I think it was, but in reading this thread I thought perhaps it best to state it officially.

In any case, no hard feelings exist from this end for any of that, least of all to the people whose input was to try to make it MORE productive and less hostile.

And Vershean, I'm really glad we got a chance to talk. I'd much rather resolve conflict with discussion than simply making it go away by using the mute feature. That's really a last ditch event for me, and you've only enforced that by speaking about it in such a wonderful manner!
