Now they know how it feels.

The most successful software company in the world does a piss-poor job on all these points. Particularly the first three. Why do you expect Linden Labs to do any better?

Both our girls were adopted from Catholic Social Services, though we are not Catholic. My understand has been that the requirements of even different Catholic social service agencies in different areas of the country vary as to who is allowed to adopt, and the same is probably true of other private agencies such as this Bethany one.

There's something enjoyable about the politics of organizations based on unscientific principles. Their decision for a given political action is always guaranteed to be irrational. :)

Dont lump all Christians in the same boat. Different organizations are run differently.

True, but conversely you don't have to be a terrorist to be a Muslim. My gut reaction to the above headline is that someone evidently does feel you can't be a Christian Catholic. Which is why I continue to hold my belief that the vast majority of organized religions are insane.

I was trying to point up the irony of Christians being discriminated against by other Christians. Ironically, some of the proponents of America as a "Christian Nation" believe no such thing: they want a Protestant nation... and not all Protestants, just Evangelicals, and carefully selected subgroups of Evangelicals at that. Lumping all Christians together is their rhetorical ploy, and I find it amusing when their pretext of unity frays.

Christians who really know and follow the teachings of Christ are actually quite pleasant people. They're also a small minority.
