If there are only 28,000 subscribers to SL, how can there be 143,987 members of the forums?

Does every single person have at least 5 alts?

Expired accounts. People sign up, get a forum account, then leave. The total number of accounts created is much greater than the total number of active accounts.

Yes...my original avie katykiwi song, created in July 2003 is cancelled and cannot enter SL, but it is still listed as a forum member.

"User-created content takes the idea of leveraging player opinions a step further by allowing them to effectively prototype new ideas and features. Developers can then measure which new concepts most improve the products and incorporate them into the game in future patches."
