I played Tringo for the first time today... it was quite fun, the crowd was a hoot, and the pots were pretty high (~L$5,000 range). Some players were EXTREMELY good.

This got me to thinking, are there any Tringo Pros in SL? True to life pros who play Tringo as their primary source of income. At $20 USD or so per pot, it would only take 2 - 3 wins per day to equal an after tax hourly wage of USD $11.00. And it would be way fun!

Tringo Pros, if you're out there, can you lemme know? I find this idea fascinating!

5k our pots never get that high. Well they do if we put the money in them. Any tringo owner putting that much money into the tringo pots just to get dwell is a fricken idiot. IMO

I have seen some pots out there that were 2 to 3k so I can believe it. Sometimes someone generous comes along and donates big.

As for Tringo professional, well I was pretty good but I haven't done tringo in a few weeks. I can only do so many rounds of tringo a day. After that, my brain is fried. So I was doing it to help make extra money but some days, it just never worked out like that.

I do know there are some that are damn good and if they showed up I knew I could hang it up. LOL

I play Tringo as my main source of income in SL and do pretty well. There are a number of awesome Tringo players out there on 'the circuit' and I suspect they also get the major source of thier income from Tringo as well.

Almost all the players I've encountered are VERY generous and when pots get that high it's due to the players generosity. Hell it's makes it more fun for all of us when we have a nice pot. Did you guys see that post on that guy....sorry forgot your name :(.... who won a 10K+ pot? SWEET!!!

2 days ago, there were several pots in the 10-11K range in Rue D'Alliez. Sweet indeed!

I didn't win a single one of them though. :(

I don't think I could play Tringo as a main source of income. But 4 or 5 games is a nice way to meet a few friends at the start of the night, before hitting a party or another.

I'd like to see an SL-wide Tringo "champion of champions" match. :)

But should it be a Tringo match or should they have to box?

I know that they have done tournaments at Ice Palace but it would be good to see
champions from each of the "tringo houses" compete. All the places get together and
have a tournament and their champions go to a Tringo competition. Kinda like the playoffs of tringo.

hmmm, I could be a vegas style bookie for the night...LOL get the odds out on the winners.
