New Order

We just got settled in after an amazing New Order and Chemical Brothers concert in San Francisco. New Order played a great selection of songs all the way from early Joy Division to their new album, which was just released a few days ago. I had hoped that they would play a song from Technique but no such luck. The did play "Regret" though -- a gem from one their newer releases.

If you have the opportunity to see New Order in your area, I highly recommend seizing the opportunity. They tour infrequently and are still putting on great concerts.


The last concert we went to was Skinny Puppy about four and a half months ago. It also was an amazing show and was the very same night that would end up changing our lives forever.

My best friend, Hugo, was text messaging me all night from that very concert. It was the first time he saw New Order without me (we're on separate coasts now) and he was so excited because he said it was their best show ever, but also sad i couldn't be there with him. If they head East, I will deinitely see them.

Wow, conceiving after Skinny Puppy. That's going to be a fun story to tell the grandkids someday
