What happened to the variety of events in SL?
I remember a time when there were , Show and Tells, games, trivia, dancing, costume contests, poetry, improv , sales, etc.
I have been playing SL much more and where I think Tringo/SLingo/Bingo is fine I just
wonder where did the variety go ? Ive seen a few classes , and couple poetry events,
maybe im missing these hidden gems on the schedule * mine is perpetually bugged and only shows till 6 p.m. pst time*
Just a thought to pass the time .. .. Thank you

They got a bit drown out by the high volume events. I do still see them on the calendar now and again, you just have to keep an eye out. Use the categorical search, too.

It kind of makes me miss all of the hot sexiest thong contests of days past.
 I barely check the event listings anymore. I figure if someone is having an event they will send me an invite otherwise I won't know about it. Otherwise its tringo out the wazzzoooo. _____________________

I find events all the time. Just a matter of being willing to sort through them. I use my handy Personal Reminder Device (shameless plug
 ) to remind me of future upcoming events in case I *do* forget to check the calendar on a certain day. I do miss seeing more show and tells and trivia type events, but they seem to be slowly making a comeback.  _____________________
