how much do you think is a fair % of your sales to pay in rent

Hi Crucial long time no talk to. We base our rent on the ability of the renter to pay but it would never be above 10%. Newbie creators get free vendor space and when their sales increase we might charge them a little.

I expect a significant return on any rental I sell in. Anything more than 10% wouldn't be worth it.

hi ya Susie i see what ya saying but i was asking more on the lines what do you personally feel is a good percentage to pay if your renting space from some one. not charging rent to some one. i have many shops i rent some i just get buy paying the rent and some i pay less then 1 % of sales as rent and quite frankly some i lose money.
and my only reason for even asking the question is pure curiosity
