It was either that or something from the Hitchcock movie...

Well, that's kind of a funny story...
It all started during a trip to Bodega Bay, which is of course where Alfred Hitchcock filmed "The Birds". While on that trip, I was listening to the theme from Dragonheart, which of course the the same theme music that every awful movie trailer uses at the beginning. The voice-over during the scene to scene transition, you know, the one where they show all the best parts of the movie in a 2 minute trailer, and you suddenly feel like you don't actually need to <go> to the film becuase you've seen it already... anyway, during that part the dialog usually says something like ...in a time ...in a world where evil reigns supreme ...one man ...one enchanted sword ...one rubber chicken ...two field mice ...and the woman they loved yada yada something something ...and it became, a LEGEND! Or something like that. I'm sorry, what were we talking about? Oh yeah, the funny click on bird. Forget everything I just said. That was a fun experiment that our web programmers were playing with. It will be gone with the new version of the website. In the meantime, we sort of considered it to be an easter egg. Glad to see someone found it. -Peter ![]() |
