Joane - the best place to find streaming music stations that you can play on your parcel in SL is to go to:
http://www.shoutcast.com You should be able to search for exactly what you're looking for. Once you do, connect to the stream with Winamp, and while its playing, look at the properties of the stream for the URL. Hope this helps! ![]() _____________________

First download Winamp. I believe it's at winamp.com, if not, do a google serch for winamp. Then go to shoutcast and pick a station that looks promising to you and click Play.
When winamp opens and starts playing your station, if you like it, then right click on winamp up in the center where you see the station name and choose Properties, It will open a small window with the URL of the satation you're listening to. Copy that URL. In SL right click on your land. Choose ABOUT LAND. Now I can't remember which tab you need, but look for a space called URL. Paste the URL in there and you now have music playing on your land. If you buy a radio from one of several people in game you can even change the station by a voice command. _____________________

In addition to what Red said about Winamp (absolutely the best way to find streaming stations and listen to them before you add them to your land) ... there are some of us who have been building notecards with lists of station URLs on them along with comments.
If I'm on, IM me and I'll send you a copy of my notecard. It's not comprehensive but it'll get you started. Easier to copy the http:// line from the notecard than it is to toggle in and out of SL ![]() _____________________

This is fantastic. I wanted a classical music station to stream to my home, and there are several listed here!
