For some reason, I can't find any ways to earn money!!! I'm doing events now, so that helps a lot, but I can't really find anything I'm good at (i.e. making clothes, making objects, etc.).

Anyone got any suggestions?
Anything will be appreciated.

P.S. Suggestions, NOT donations!!!

Artemis, what do you need a bunch of money for? If you hold two events a week and make $1K off that, that seems like a solid income to me. If you want more money to pump into land and a build (i.e., to pay for taxes), work on getting more ratings and calling cards.

Or, talk to James Miller, he has plenty of hare-brained schem... er, ideas for making money in SL.

Events are your best bet Artemis, as soon as I was able to join Mentors and Sports I started doing events, we need more people doing a variety of events anyway there are areas in SL that barely get used and are prime areas for Events. Oakgrove..how about a wildwest shootout, Rizall there are several sports arenas there that no one uses and could be great fun if somone hosted active events there...A Car Show and race in the new vehicle area..Celebrity DeathMatch.2 AVs enter..one leaves..A home tour of the Best homes in SL..about all I can think of at the moment Art..im stuck at work and brainstorming on some ideas I have had and want to see or do ...Oh yea one other..Sailboat Races at Cayman

I teach a lot of classes these days... David Linden keeps complaining that there arent enough instructors and there arent enough classes so I decided to double the amount of classes I taught. Classes pay as much as events so four classes yield 2k/week. Heck I wouldnt mind teaching 10 classes but I do have a real life to worry about :)
BTW I would greatly appreciate if you did more Final Fantasy events artemis :)

Well thank you all for your advice. Well, Beryl, I wanted more money because I'm working on a home now, but I suppose I could save up from events from that.
Thanks again for your help!
:)

Hey, I was going to reply too! So, my reply is... basically, what you can do is look around and think what you'd really like to see in the game and make it. Chances are there's plenty of other people who want the same thing, so if you can get it to work, it'll be really popular. Along the way you'll have lots of fun, and make plenty of friends.

I would really like to see less lag, more sims turning mature (heck, all sims!), a rental/subscription feature whereby I get a guaranteed payment every week from a person even if he or she goes negative, customizable gestures, a better and more realistic economic model that isnt anywhere near this zero-sum nonsense, more memory for scripts, with less delays between commands, bigger prim and av limits, and also a SANE permission system (you know, what we used to have) that doesnt force me to explicitly grant people permission to work on my scripts so that I dont have to set the properties every single time I give someone a script or object etc etc... but i can wait :p

Eggy,
Aren't these mutually exclusive? In a realistic economic model, you couldn't get money from someone who had none (can't sqeeze blood from a turnip). And what if someone filed for bankruptcy - being excused from all current debts? What we really need is SL repo men.

But don't open the trunk :)

I've still never actually done anything impressive enough to be... erm... impressive... The good thing is, though, that means I've done almost everything in SL at least once... except being naked... I've never been naked... ever

I dont know about you, but a lot of people have bank accounts that can go way into the negative. Sort of an instant, automatic loan. If mom's account reaches zero she can continue to withdraw money until it reaches a negative amount equivalent to her salary. Actually we've been mostly living in the red for years ;)

Yeah, Eggy, this is also what credit cards are for. *sigh*
