FIC Vs CIP

The joke about the existence of an FIC is getting tiresome and old. However, the CIP will never let it die so I recommend that if you cant beat them - join them.

This is the official sign up for the FIC or CIP groups. The FIC is a very well known talked about group on the forums. But---the most elusive and secret group is the CIP. Conspiracy Instigators Patrol. They have a division in that group called CRAP. Conspiracy Reporters At Play. I understand that the CRAP is full but you still might be able to squeeze in - youll find them on the forums doing most of the work for the CIP.

We are all just learning about the CIP only because their CRAP division has been so vocal lately that their security is dropping. Here are some of the benefits of being a CIP; maybe there are others out there who can share more benefits or reveal some of its members. By being a secret member of the CIP, you basically have many of the same benefits of a FIC, which are:

1) You get to play SL, buy land, create, and socialize.
2) You get to talk to a Linden or be in their presence and get their card and bear.

The difference is with benefit 3)
If your a FIC - you get anything you want and can effect the play of the game because your older.
If your a CIP - you get anything you want and can effect the play of the game because you post in the forums big long bitching, whining rants that drive everyone else crazy.

What is most common though, is may of the CIP players automatically become FIC when they reach a certain age and quit whining. Or if you point at one of them and yell out
"Hey I know your CRAP!" --- they have no choice but to drop membership and become a FIC. Alot of the CRAP thats in the forums wont admit they have been caught and accept their memebership into the FIC because they cant stop whining - its a natrual and uncontrollable trait for them to complain. To fight their membership into the FIC, they have created alts so they continue to have the pleasure of posting the "dribble" in the forums, but eventually they too are caught and are drawn into the FIC. Its all but a matter of time and age that eventually gets us all into the FIC; you can only hope that with age and maturity some will stop the whining and complaining. "Shrugs"

Anyways, thats how I think it works.

Ohh..I want to be a member of CIP! And I think I should be an officer, due to my hours of hard work enhancing, propogating and furthering the rumors of the FIC.

I am also working on instigating several in-world rumors dealing with Pathfinder Linden, Aimee Weber, W-Hat and sheep. Also, with the help of Antagonistic Protagonist, I hope to create an atmosphere of xenophobia and paranoia throughout all sims that begin with the letter T.

This post clearly says you are Really FIC trying to be subversive. You could very well be one of the FIC masterminds .....in fact I think you may have created the FIC just so you could use it as a tool to infiltrate the CIP...you sir are being watched

For the sake of clarity (again) - age has nothing to do with FIC status, it's all about the time you take away from the SL staff. More than 5 mintues stolen time/day makes you FIC.

Yeah, pretty much. I suspect a lot of people want to gain entry into FIC by making fun of those who criticize its existence.

The joke is on them in the end, though.

The FIC doesn't exist as a club you can join, it's just a very poor mindset which promotes elitism and defends the status quo.

So, I guess in someways, you just got your ticket.

They use to have the letter H in their title but the W-Hat stole it. So now they are Hless.

We need a Federated Underdogs Corps to protect those of us neither FIC not CIP. It would be a group whose goal it is to protect us from the maniacal ravings of either. Whenever faced with such a rant, one would simply post a call for assistance. For instance:

CIP Member: "You know what this is, it's the usual FIC crap!!"
Me: "Oh, FUC!"
