Or maybe just a forum thread with her?
Seems like these days everyone has a fair bit of stuff to say about forum moderation... lately there has been no shortage of both praise and criticism thrown in her general direction.
Then again we should probably poke Robin instead, since I think she's the one who gets to define the policies...

There is a huge difference between "defining policiies" and "doing whatever the fuck I want no matter how arbitrary". That she has chosen to ignore gobs of reasoned constructive critique here and even posted a purple lament about "why is everyone so touchy about my actions?", why would a "meeting" be of any use at all except to give the participants the illusion that they are being "listened to".

The forums are in the abyssmal state they are because Jeska is overworked, underskilled, and nobody at LL gives a damn.

Need I make that more pointed?

Introvert, for fuck's sake man. Jeska is a human being. The Lindens are normal people.
If you don't like it here, you know where the door is. And please realize that you (and other dudes with 'tudes) are the greater part of our forum problems.
Now go take a Valium or three before you get this account permabanned as well.

My how presumptuous of you.

My other account wasn't formally permabanned, it was merely "suspended for three days" and then no one "remembered" to turn it back on. If they wish to pretend that they are even folowing their own stated policies, then send me notice and permaban me, please.

I have tried constructive, I have tried plaintive, I have tried parody. What I haven't done is spent the preponderence of my SL related time sitting in these forums passing out medical advice and declaring who are the "problem" players here.

Please note also that my saying "please folks GOM is just a human being so lighten up on him please", was met with "why?" and that based on your recommendation, I've taken at least a good handful of Valium, tyvm.

Interesting. I've seen that sort of thing happen a lot lately, including to me. I've been trying to decide what the "forgetfulness" means.

Sorry for being hasty and therefore incomplete. More accurately, my forum and game account were both suspended for three days and my game account was re-enabled as scheduled. And it was also an oversimplification to say that "no one remembered" as I had used the recommended channels to request that my forum account be re-enabled per the suspension notice I received, and despite getting a cordial, personal response to one of my many inquiries, there was no statement saying anything related to
 1. my account has been intentionally suspended or banned
 2. my account has been unintentionally suspended or banned
In fact, here is the entire body of the response e-mail that I received, verbatim:
Thanks are in order again. Why? Because you are a concerned resident who
is very passionate about Second Life. =)

Keep on keeping on!

So, I am indeed keeping on.

The forgetfulness is indeed troubling.

Also, it never occurred to me that you were an alt. You have been accused of this?

ValiumĀ® is a registered trademark of Roche Pharmaceuticals. My apologies to the 65,000 employees of this producer of diazepam and their kind legal staff for failing to use their mark appropriately. I should also mention that ValiumĀ® should only be used according to package information or per the direction of a physician.

I recently received some information about the most expeditious way to contact the forum sysadmins and given my prior ignorance on the matter, I figure that at least one other person in cyberspace may find this of use:
There is a known bug that sometimes prevents forum accounts from being reinstated when an account is suspended. In the future, please send a note directly to jeska@lindenlab.com or to the forummaster@secondlife.com account
And for those who know me to sometimes include subtexts in my postings, please believe me that this post means exactly what it says and nothing else.
