ok, so here it is...unpacking a box...move the items into a new folder named just for them...this folder was a sub-subfolder in a subfolder my main "clothing" folder. Then by some freak movement, I dragged and dropped the whole subfolder (including the sub-subfolders)...found the subfolder in my trash...

Went to open a new window to drag and drop the subfolder back into the clothing folder...and emptied my trash instead. :((

I wish the "empty trash" selection was at the top ALL BY ITSELF, because this isn't the first time this has happened...but it is the first time it's happened so BIG!! This folder was FILLED with clothes...dresses and skirt sets...all GONE.

Has anyone ever gotten deleted stuff back? *cries bitter tears*

if you know what items were in that subfolder and who designed them most people are good enought to replace those items you lost if you ask em realllll nice

Nope, never, due to lack of LL capability, corporate "policy" and general lack of concern for player assets. But don't blame horrible UI design for your error, after all, you are merely a stupid customer who should not be thankful that you are allowed to have inventory at all. ;)

I wish I knew what was in there...I remember a few...but not many...there was just tooooo much.

I learned a lesson...and I let SL know they need to add the "are you SURE" protection...let's see what happens.

I'm over it now....mostly. *sniff-sniff*

No...I lost all my textures as a result of the SL asset server failure problems earlier this year and, to quote a famous man, "I feel your pain."

I am in the process of clearing out my unmanageable inventory and boxing things up for a yard sale. Many things are set out but not for sale yet. Just come to island sim Gypsy Moon and take a look, any clothing you see that you like you can have. IM me and I will make sure you get them.

Thank you to all who have offered me clothing and help in rebuilding my inventory.

I do want to make it clear that I only lost ALL my DRESSES and SKIRTS...I still have a lot of clothing, so don't worry about me too much.

I hit some sales and am slowly rebuilding...and again, thank you to all who have helped or offered to.

You are all amazing!
