Hey Folks,
I'm hanging in Romania with my girls. Here i am with Violeta and my pal gilbert. We spent the afternoon with some of the kids at the park.

Also Nicoleta Mica, Elena, Violeta, myself and Ana the youngest.

When I figure out what I am doing I'll post more pics.
Take care,
Tom

Very nice pics! What a lucky guy you are to have so many lovely girls! I have two; wish I had four.

I'm here with a group from our church www.ccmtb.com
working at rock ministries www.rockministries.org
and with the Archway foundation www.Archwaykids.org

I work only with Archway while others work only at ROCK.

Tuesday we go out to deliver food and other essentials to very poor families.
Its great to see Casi and Violeta plus all the other kids.

Its great to see so many of the orphan kids getting attention from our group.
They have been through so much in their young lives and to be able to be kids again with a roof over their heads and hot meals every day has really caused them to lead a more normal life. While they will never be really normal it beats being homeless in Bucharest.
All the kids you see in the picture were homeless at one point.

I'll relate some stories later
Thanks for looking at this thread.

Sorry for the lousy webpage, spending less time in SL and more time in RL should
help me focus on more important matters.

This was the last day of our food delivery program.
I couldn't bring myself to take pictures of all the poverty and destitution i saw.
At times I had to remind myself that this is a street outreach and not a photo expedition.

Saul/Tom - thank you for posting the pictures and telling us about what you are doing. It's important to be reminded that there are a lot of people in the world who need help and that there really are things that we can do besides just sending a check and putting the haunting images behind us.

(Not to imply that there is anything wrong at all with donating - it's just that there is something very special about being there and giving a part of yourself too.) Places like Romania don't seem so very far away when you see pictures like that.

Kudos to you and the people you are with and best wishes on your journey in Romania.

Rose
