Prayers to SLers Victums of Katrina

SL may appear to one big world, we have also become one big family. At times we like to sling our mud on the forums at each other, but more often we have shown our love and compassion for one another.

Already in others threads we have heard from SL residents who have headed south to volunteer, or have helped in finding homes for their SL friends who lost everything, or who themselves have survived. My thoughts and prayers go out to them.

I offer this thread for all of us to provide continuing updates and stories, and to give our thoughts and prayers to all the victums of Katrina who some may be from our SL family. Here is one that is near and dear to my heart.

My dear Waves has been in Virgina for the past few months building homes for military families. He received word that his home in Gulfport is gone. He is on his way down with his truck loaded with water, food, generators, and other items to help his neighbors and his community. I am not sure when he will return, if he will be safe, if I can stay in touch with him, or how his heart will mend from all the aftermath he will witness.
