I think Ama Omega is starting to regret that SL went open beta so I could join... I was super addicted to EQ, but quit last September... SL is totally re-awakening the online gaming addiction! I think he might be seeing a bit less of me. (:

My chick thinks she understands these game but really she has no clue. The first day I got in to this game I said I was going to be on line for at least 3-4 hours trying to figure the game out, is there ANYTHING I can do now so I don't have to be interupted. No prob, right? Every 30 min or so just when I make some sort of break through in the game she like "Hun? could ya xxxx or yyyy?" Ahhh do I have to do that now?!?! WTF! Why do chicks have the uncanny ability to interupt at the worst posable moment. She never tried to talk with me when I'm downloading a huge file, only when I reading a message that will be up on the screen for the next 30 sec. That and walking in FRONT of the TV. Why do you need to walk in front of the tv!?!?! Fucking walk around! Geesh!! ok, rant over.

heh ok lets not let this thread turn into the battle of the sexes, because we all that guys and girls do equally good jobs of grating on one anothers nerves.

and to keep my gender somewhat ambiguous, i moved to london, 6 hour time difference away from my significant other so that i could play/think about sl uninterrupted

I must have it made in the shade then. My wife is great she is completely and totaly over nagging me about my online or oncomputer habits. Basicaly she has accepted the fact that it is part of who I am. She knows if she wants anything out of me she had better get it before she goes to bed at 8:30. After 8:30 the house is quite and I am oblivious that there is a home.

However, Recently not at her nagging but my own mental misgivings I am begining to realize I am totaly addicted to SL. I have Abandoned my previous Online game and I am constantly thinking of new things I need to do in SL. I have been averaging 2-3 hours sleep daily. I need to curb my habits or I am going to wear myself out.

So, on a positive note guys. There are some women out there that are perfect. Believe me it took me 27 years to find almost perfect. (Referencing I still think she needs to loose switch in her butt that makes her fall asleep at 8:30...LOL) But there are some out there for ya. And Gals if you have a man that is whining about you playing the game....you know what do do to shut him up and put him to sleep so you can play....

Note: both scenerios work in Opposing relationships too. That is unless you get the significant other hooked on the game and unless you have a second computer it will be a fight...LOL

I have to cook dinner or come over early or something otherwise he says Im addicited if I go on sL,I gotta suck up! the other day it was HOney lets go to target and out to eat, then he let me play, or honey I made dinner, then I can play. Not that he makes me do those things, but I do it because it seems he nags less! He acts like Im on it all the time, only before..... We would just be watching tv during this time!

Jean its not just the lady's its the NON-Puter Literate individual in the relationship that is Jealouse of an Electronic Mechinism. Jealous that they can't hold your attention like the mesmerizing Computer does.

I asked for and got EQ for x-mas 3 years ago. Alek decided she would give it a try and bought it before new years. Ok, I am to blame because I did push her to try it.

And now she is in SL ....

She does good in these games cuz she is nicer than me. I bug her about it too. "What are you doing leading that newbie around?? I thought you were working on a project?...." Hehehe.

And since we both played EQ we know that a 15 minute warning is the minimum for asking someone to step away for any reason, 30 if you want everyone to be happy.

Girls are icky!!! EWWW...
