A can of compressed air! The wad of dust I blew out of the fan on my laptop was nothing short of spectacular. And now my laptop fan turns on less, and is quieter when it does. Dust inhibits heat transfer away from your cpu which can affect performance. Please make sure to follow the instructions though, and these tips: - Hold the can upright. Bend the straw if you need a different angle. - Only a few small blasts at a time. Don't hold it down or do lots and lots of small blasts because liquid will come out of the can if you do that. However as long as you follow tip 3, and don't coat it in liquid, it shouldn't be a problem because it evaporates extremely quickly. - Turn off and unplug any device you are dusting.

Agreed Ama, these are GREAT especially if people smoke.. holy fudge.
They should however, put a warning on the can: Please do not leave in the reach of adolescent cats, as they will chew on the straw thereby screwing your attempts to properly use device.

The following are things you should definetly NOT do with a can of air, I mean it
* Sneak up on sleeping cat, spray cat
* Make a parachute out of a Kleenex and a pen cap then see how long you can keep it in the air (you should also not do this with balloons)
* When someone leaves their desk, spray patch on their chair for a long time, this will make it cold. When they return and sit down, they will think they have sat in something wet.
* Crawl under your desk, when someone asks you what you are doing, tell them you are looking for your pet snake, convince them to look, when they are looking in a dark place, spray the can behind them, watch them bump head on desk
* put two or three warm beer in a bucket of cool water. Use a thumbtack to widen the nozle on the air can, use strong rubber bands to keep the trigger closed, toss in bucket, 1 min later, cold ones!

You mentioned kleenex and balloons. You generally know what your talking about so I avoided these items.
When I get out of the emergency room, I'm going to have to chastize you for omitting bricks.
