and then get on the bandwagon, swearing off virtual communities for the rest of my life.

or until SL came back up (or was released for sale) whichever came first

Same thing I did the 8 days my dsl was out. Check forums compulsively and make plans for The Next Thing I Want To Do In SL. (Of course, I did get to "cheat" and pop in for 10 minutes one night on dialup. It was ghastly.)

Finish the project I am supposed to complete so I can get my degree. (I am 1 credit point away and just need to finish this project.....) And visit the fourms about once a minute (like I do now when the servers are down), and maybe get a job
