I am not sure if this is covered elsewhere so here goes.
When you finish constructing a house, and use the join tool to link all of the objects together (ie walls, windows, floors, roof) into one object, is the tax calulated for that house for each individual object, or for the single joined object that the house now represents?
I only ask in that, to stay away from large peices that have large tax amounts one might use smaller (but since it takes more evenutally more expensive) pieces to make up the structure.
Just curious how this all works.
Thanks

Each object within the final linked set is taxed. For tax purposes the link means nothing that I know of. Tax goes by number of primatives.

you get taxed per individual object, so it might be nice to do a cost estimate about what number of objects provides the most reasonable taxes, although i have a feeling that it is still less is better
edit- damn, charlie beat me
