 OK, I'll start - I have a Philip number of 1 - I worked on the Alt-Zoom disco that he built, and as the clueless noob that I was, I didnt even know who the heck was Philip so I just thought to myself, this thing is UGLY, and proceeded to delete it A few months later we were both interviewed on "Late Night With Darwin Appleby". So... if you ever worked with me on anything you have a Philip number of at least 2. _____________________

I was thinking about this the other day - I was curious about how population affects maximum degrees of seperation. I think we'll see a maximum Philip number of 2, since Philip deals with all the Lindens, and I doubt very much there's a player that hasn't had some Linden contact. At the very very most, 3, because noobs will almost certainly deal with a mentor, Live Helper, or veteran player.

The ONLY Linden I have meet are Pathfinder - a nice guy... and looks special to.. his eyes.. wow...so its more than ”ONLY”.. and he ANSWERs IMs to so.. plus to him...

I first met Philip Linden at the holiday celebration in December and then again at the Elbow Room when video was first introduced into SL.
While in San Francisco last month, I visited Linden Lab and had the chance to meet with Philip Rosedale. He is a very bright, articulate, and charismatic man. And, he is passionate about Second Life. I also had the opportunity to meet Hamlet and Robin. Both of whom are wonderful people as well. For all the grief we sometimes give the Lindens, I found Linden Lab to be a very professional organization with a highly motivated and dedicated staff. I have respect for what they're trying to do, and I want to thank them for working hard to make SL the best it can be. Pietro |

What a hit! Big party in SF jammed to the music at club avarice for hours. Many SL residents at the live event. Great moves, all! Lots of press there and watching - look for some G4 TV coverage. For those wondering, the dancing of Dancestar linden was being driven by a DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) footpad that was hooked up by the team for the event. Cool! That was a party Haney (aaah Haney! miss ya) Linden asked me to host in our original Club Avarice on our old land in Isora. Also, I showed up for a previewer session (for 1.5 I think) for testing attachment/prim loss in teleports in my Vix avie. Her head is about 256 prims. I walked up to some folks, Philip was in the bunch, and he immediately noted my avie, asked if he could teleport me. I was then teleported to server hell! Twice! Never have I been sent so far afield by a Linden before! LOL So is that a Linden quotia of 1? or - gazillion for the negative coords I had in server never never land ??? hehehe _____________________
