I've found out that everyone that I give a calling card to has the ability (if they choose to use it) to track me down in world.
I don't really like the thought of that idea too much. Are there any plans to make this system better?

The looksets of the newbie avies is enough to chase alot of folks away.
I'd like to suggest that these are updated. If you want to attract the most people to SecondLife, I think that this would really help.

The vehicles move slow here. I am curious if we will see a way to produce faster & more responsive vehicles soon.

Dreams, if you don't want to be tracked down by someone who has your card, either don't accept the card or cancel it if you already have it (right-click on the card in your inventory and choose Cancel). About the only thing you need someone's card for is to rate or track him/her. You can look up anybody's profile using the Find function.
I think the Lindens leave the starting avs somewhat, er, minimalistic to encourage players to create their own, unique look. I know I am always proud when I get compliments on my avs since I made them myself. Beauty is such a subjective thing, don't you think? And many SL residents never wear a humanoid av!
The vehicles in SL don't run as smoothly as the ones in There, that's definitely true. I think this is something they are working on.
*Edited because I posted too soon and missed half my post!*

Vehicle response times are somewhat a limitation of LSL. But speed is not. Speed is purely a function of the vehicle designers and where they decide to set it. I have a motorcycle I've been working on, for example, that according the spedometer has broken mach 1 on several occasions. Of course, it's completely unusuable at that speed, and I normaly don't survive the first sim crossing, much less the second (And they happen almost simultaniously), but in theory it can be done

I have one of Garth's lovely Jetstream boats, with a Turbo option, and lemme tell ya... slow is not a word I would use to describe it. That baby zooms. (So fast that the first time I used it, it threw me and Siggy out of the boat at sim border and lodged itself beneath someone's house two sims away! Now that was a hoot!)

LOL! Thanks for the tips and encouragement. I really appreciate it. I had no idea we could cancel a trading card!
I wish that I had a bit more information to read about the processes of SL. Any suggestions?

I don't have a cancel option. Do you mean delete?
