Just got the notice via email that the Generalized Texture Layers proposal was accepted-- yay! Can't wait to see how this develops.

Time to put a few more votes into the 'Default Anims in the UI' prop I guess. (thats Prop 67 ) Worth having a look at too. _____________________

what does this mean? what is it? and when would it be implemented? sorry, just curious. There's a whole thread about it under Feature Suggestions-- basically it allows multiple textures to be used for stacked clothing layers, tattoos, etc. so you aren't restricted to just undershirt, shirt, jacket. It's just been accepted, so I suppose they're working on it for a future release. _____________________

I got a notice that said it was 'Acknowledged,' with a Linden comment that it was a good idea. Is that the same as it being Accepted, or does it just mean, 'Yeah, we might consider doing that one of these days, probably after we implement Havok-2 and Smellovision." ?

IMHO They should combine this with Prop 422: "Alpha texture support for avatar skins"
