Here is a long(ish) list of things that I have found not quite right with the game. Feel free to add yours, I would love to hear them and I'm sure the lindens would too. Some may be unfixable - I dont know. I'm keeping my hopes up! :D

1)Unable to load notecard/object contents. I dont know a workaround and it is SO annoying!
2)Stuck between sims or outside the map, unable to teleport, having to relog.(Actually I have a vague recollection of using the sit here bug to escape it, but i could be wrong)
3)Unable to remove attachments, having to relog.
4)Objects and avatars being seen without being present - ghosts. Fixing requires relogging.
5)Objects consistently go phantom near the sim border making me get stuck inside buildings or fall through the floor.
6)Tracker lag. I dont know how often the tracker is updating but it always indicates that people are at the edge of a sim, when they arent. the other day the tracker had the nerve to tell me that a person was over 16000 meters away(and counting), when she wasnt, and I managed to find her only by asking about her location through IM.
7)Pathfinding AI sucks in auto fly, seems to think in 2D and does not want to go around objects. Could be "fixed" in 5 minutes by just making auto fly take us to 200 meters altitude first, where its usually pretty empty.
8)Tracker is bidimensional making it impossible to know if a person is above or below you.
9)You buy a texture pack with 250 textures and then have the pleasure of pulling them out one by one for hours.
10)The coordinates of an object fluctuate randomly. While shift dragging with snap to grid a while ago, I didnt get all the decimal places remaining at 0, and instead got a mysterious excess in displacement.
11)Hollow cut cubes and their annoyingly sharp edges, and nearly untexturable innards.
12)Flashing textures in overlapping prims. Amazingly this can even happen if their surfaces arent precisely coinciding.
13)Seams between prims that are aligned with mathematical perfection.
14)Overpowered, abusive objects that throw me to the other side of the world, or instantly teleport me home without my permission, or follow me around banging into me and making it impossible to move right etc.
I read something in a past release note about fixing things like these, but my trusty old baseball bat still throws people across a sim or two.
15)Neighbour discounts, as mentioned recently in another thread.
16)The whole economy and rating system as has been talked about ad nauseum in just about every forum :D
17)The "sit here" bug
18)The "ride the magic prim" bug
19)Being able to look inside people's houses and hear what they say - inexistent privacy. Also the easy tracking and recording of people's movements and the long-distance retransmission of captured chats to a spy player.
20)Inexistent anonymity.I would love to make anonymous donations in the true spirit of charity and also would love to not have my name plastered on everything i have made even after it goes public. There is no problem with abuse and it seems simple to implement. Just display "anonymous" for players and the real name for lindens in objects flagged as anonymous.
How am I supposed to make a st. valentine's card for all my 300 sweeties eh? :p

Bonus bug... I could swear I lost money the other day when me and baccara claimed and released the same object multiple times. She got all her money back when she deleted the object she rezzed but I think I came short by about 24 dollars... doesnt break the bank, but still, it is most intriguing.

1.Loosing items you have purchased when you accept them to your inventory.

2. Not beign able to delete items on public land which are decaying.

3. Not being able to remove an item left by a guest at my house, made on lindend controlled land.

4. Items that have escaped from the owners grasp, Notifying them and they never retreive it. ( the endless litter)

5. Not knowing some thing you own has escaped or you still own land you thought you had released.

6. The most Important. The horrible lag at stage 4 and perry
which makes it next to impossible to host events or teach a class.

7. Not beign able to upload notecards to a prim to be seen like an image.

8. Accidently getting a debug chart on my screen and not being able to figure out how to get rid of it.

9. Getting stuck on and in items. The swim. YOU know when your av sorta swims and can't get off of the item.

10. The guys shirts being to short, the first question beign how do I make my shirt longer.

11. The pink tracking square- simulator cannot be found. Does it ever work any more?

hmmm...all those and....

1) Gravty slamming you back down when you are pushing up.

2) Remote Pay using Calling Cards...it doesnt work anymore or well not for me anyway.

3) Loading Contents (bug) have to relog just to see contents of a object that is MINE.

4) Better Avatar Texture pattern. Current one does not line up properly for making decent clothes thus creating a load test Reload test reload test. ok I got it right now! $30 is gone Vs $10 not a big amount for one shirt but when you do that for 15 or 20 that adds up quick.

5) On Account History only showing what we have spent of our bounus earned vs what we could have spent total had we decided to make more. <<would be kind of neat to have if we were planning a project and need to know how much we could spend and stay afloat.

Ok i will think of more later I have to get back to work now..LOL
Bye

You may have had "local axis" turned on. (then again, you may not).

I dont remember, but for shift dragging along an axis, with snap to grid, getting a mysterious 0.023 extra in the axis youre dragging along doesnt seem normal to me. I align everything mathematically.
Also let me add a bug I discovered today with Shadow...
Put two hollow cut cubes together, with a semi transparent texture (like the walls in the disco), and have another semi transparent prim inside them... like Shadow's shop sign at the disco. It will randomly get the depth ordering incorrect and look like its partially ot totally outside the cubes, depending on the angle youre looking from and the positioning of the sign.
Ben Linden said its a known bug. I hope its fixed.
Oh, and Ama still hasnt put his games back up because of money bugs. :(

LOL

When I first started, I apparently misread the instructions on uploading textures, and was under the impression that all textures had to have an alpha channel, even if it was 100% white (show-all). So, I uploaded several textures, all with 100% white alpha channels, and used them on my "house."

It was an interesting effect. Walls would completely disappear when viewed at certain angles. The depth ordering problem you're talking about was extremely common, also. The end result is that it looked like an Escher. Which would have been cool, had it been what I wanted.

Hope this wasn't said already (and I missed it)

1. I still want 1st person view, with everything acting the same as in 3rd person (no mouse look)

2. Alpha textures still can't figure if they're in front or behind objects they're next to (two alphas next to eachother is a mess, like a window alpha and sheers in front, does not work)
I could do so much if this would only work!

3. Get my dsl to do the minimum 365 kps that it's supposed to do ... oh wait a sec... that's not a Linden problem....

4. Fix our toenails please, I hate waring shoes, and those toes are really embarassing!

Thanks for listening ;P

Love INgie
