I just did a quick check using my home security system, a Psyke Phaeton networked system that covers my island sim.
Upon arriving with the targeted avatar, I got the 10-second warning as usual and once that expired I was teleported home immediately with no option to cancel the teleport.
It looks like whatever changes LL made to allow TP cancellation did not bork llTeleportAgentHome as feared, at least on this particular system.

I also use these Orbs on my island and have not noticed any issues

10 second warnings suck! And I report them. There are LOTS of times when lag hits you that 10 seconds just aren't enough to get off someones 'sacred' ground. And I do NOT know how many times I've been peacefully flying somewhere and got a warning about a second before I was bounced! No exageration here either. A few times I've got the warning after I was bounced. Sometimes a persons land is so big, you don't even know which way to turn to get off the sacred untouchable ground and holy unflyable airspace. I mean really! What on earths so important about your (your as in a general all-SL-encompessing your) stupid little shack that I can't fly over it on my way to whatever

I agree totally with Jellin Pico's entire rant - word for word! My questin is, what do those parcels have to do with this new update? Does it mean there a way you can cancel out getting teleported by somebody's security script? coco

I was curious myself if that'd be an option for it (I was kinda hoping it WAS since llTeleportAgentHome is so abused). Side note: I found a bug with the CAncel button that if you click it just at the right/wrong time you'll get stuck in limbo at the place you were being teleported too (i.e. you can not move or teleport forcing you to relog and end up at the place you wanted to Cancel going too). I have bug reported this. It sometimes happens, sometimes not, and its only if you click it at *just* the right second after every attachment has saved and right before "Connecting to region".

10 seconds... pu-lease.
From the moment your avatar lands and gets registered in the script and gets issued the 10-second warning - to the moment the teleport screen fade and you see where you are: 2, 3 seconds have passed.
The time it takes to notice, read, and comprehand the message: 2 to 4 seconds.
By this time you have about 6 seconds to get yourself together, open the map, wait for the client to unfreeze (it usually freeze for a moment as the map loads after you teleport - graphic cache, people), clicking a destination, and Teleport...
in 6 seconds? as if.
The only proper alternative you have is to use the Teleport Home function that is available via easy access, but thats silly, since this is where you're gonna get sent to anyway.
For conclusion: 10 seconds or no 10 seconds.. AR the thing. If they really want to keep their sim hidden away, have them actually hide it.

I mean really! What on earths so important about your (your as in a general all-SL-encompessing your) stupid little shack that I can't fly over it on my way to whatever Agreed - llTeleportAgentHome() should not be used on the mailnland except on those known to the owner as greifers - that is, they're there, grieifing the owner and/or her guests. I abuse report any script that TPs me home without fail. I also hand the owner a negative rating with an explanation that even a new user would know better than to be so heavy handed, and the promise to remove the neg if the security script is removed. Happily, thus far ony two of the negatives I've given for this have had reason to stay. Now, as for islands... I really have no idea why they aren't just made invisible if you want no one but a specific set of people to be there... but, since it's unlikely that anyone would just be passing over, I can't really see a problem with TPing people home, even without warning. Though, I'd never go back to such a place... ever.
