A friend and myself recently were scoping for open,waterside land to start a new project..we searched Sim after Sim..we found nothing that suited us....then..as we rounded a corner..there it stood..in all its glory...the perfect spot......but then..we find that one strip along the beach was owned by a linden.....we werent sure whether or not they might give up this "perfect spot"..so we talked about it..and we finally decided to IM the Linden to see what could be done.....The linden in question was not online at the time....so we messaged Ben Linden...the Linden who owned the property was busy in RL in a meeting....so Ben told us that he would get word to this Linden when he could.....less than 10 MINUTES later...HUNTER LINDEN came to the spot.....and opened the land for myself and my partner.......the one thing i learned while i was in the working world was communication is the key to success......I applaud both BEN LINDEN and HUNTER LINDEN for acting so swiftly..when most companies would of let this sit till "monday".....no matter what is said about LL's...they do care about us....and want us to be happy,
it may not be as "QUICKLY" as some of you think it should be.....but , hey..they are only human..right...they are ..right???? arent they!!!!!!!..heheheh again THANKYOU HUNTER....your the best.....................and thankyou BEN LINDEN..you both deserve a raise...err well at least a frsh bagel on friday <grin>

I tried the same thing, wanted some land owned by a Linden.
Never got a response back, it's ok it's not that big a deal i suppose.

I also must say that the Lindens are quite swift. I wanted some Linden land that was next to the boardwalk. I e-mailed Haney, and the next day, he came on and released it. Yay

Same thing happened for me with Haney's shrine. Haney owned the land i wanted for it at the time, so i asked him if i could have some of the land (of course, i didn't tell him that's where i was placing the shrine), but he came by quickly, released the land for me, and deleted a few lost prims that were floating around the area.
