Once in awhile, but not often. More than once I've labored over a post to make it a consise, articulate response to support/counter an idea, but all to often it's a waste of time. In general, posts supporting or countering the subject at hand are either overlooked, misinterpreted, or used as a springboard for whatever someone else wants to babble about. example: AvatarX: Beets are good for you.
AvatarY: Beets are gross!* How could you say they're good for you?!!!
AvatarX:I never said they tasted good. I said they were good for you.
AvatarY: So you're saying everyone has to eat beets and nothing else?
AvatarX:No, I just said they're a healthy food. I never said you had to eat them.
AvitarY: Why are you shoving beets down everyone's throat? I bet you want carrots and radishes and turnips banned from the grocery stand to make room for your Almighty Beets. Facist.
