Half of me was reluctant to write this letter, out of concern that Neualtenburg Projekt may be one of those organizations who do headlong things for the sole purpose of gaining attention. But given Neualtenburg Projekt's track record, I have concluded that it has no moral qualities whatsoever, so I've decided to proceed. Let me begin by saying that it presents one face to the public, a face that tells people what they want to hear. Then, in private, Neualtenburg Projekt devises new schemes to perpetuate misguided and questionable notions of other feeble-minded boneheads' intentions. What I'm saying is this: From what I know of Neualtenburg Projekt's announcements, it is saying essentially three things:

1. Its blessing is the equivalent of a papal imprimatur.
2. "The norm" shouldn't have to worry about how the exceptions feel.
3. It is the ultimate authority on what's right and what's wrong.

Obviously, all three of these are really dastardly.

Due to the power relationship between the dominator and the dominated, Neualtenburg Projekt's arguments would be a lot more effective if they were at least accurate or intelligent, not just a load of bull for the sake of being controversial. Who is Neualtenburg Projekt to say that two wrongs make a right? Neualtenburg Projekt will till the venal side of the sectarianism garden eventually -- not necessarily by direct action, but by convincing its associates to dominate the whole earth and take possession of all its riches. Fortunately, most people understand that Neualtenburg Projekt's rejoinders are an icon for the deterioration of the city, for its slow slide into crime, malaise, and filth.

Think about it. Neualtenburg Projekt is always prating about how granting it complete control over our lives is as important as breathing air. (It used to say that children should belong to the state, but the evidence is too contrary, so it's given up on that score.) We must stick to our guns and not let Neualtenburg Projekt convince us that we're supposed to shut up and smile when it says stingy things. There's really no other conclusion you can reach. You see, Neualtenburg Projekt is addicted to the feeling of power, to the idea of controlling people. Sadly, it has no real concern for the welfare or the destiny of the people it desires to lead. Does anybody else feel the way I do, or am I alone in my disgust with Neualtenburg Projekt?

Whew my fingers are as tired as this subject !

I completely agree with everything you say in your post and you are definitely not alone. Personally I think the whole thing stinks. As we all know - power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

One other conclusion, should you allow me to have one, would be the people with the most invested want it to be a working city with residents that work and pay taxes. Sort of a virtual reality sim city.

You can start your own if you want. Or posts your complaints and tell people they shouldn't reach any other conclusion. It's easier.

Considering the 'on topic' nature of this thread and the 'off topic' nature of this forum in general, how long before the thread gets locked / moved / deleted / reported for being 'on topic' ?

'Government' within a group is nothing new to SL. Amazon Nations has had a political system in place since it moved to SL from AW back in beta. It is a Martiarchal Monarchy, ie ruled by the Queen, never a king, no representation. It works very well. But then I'm biased
