I am sorry for the late night IM last night. But I was rather sick and tired of someone NOT LISTENING!! And wanted to let everyone know that this person was still doing this..
I and many others asked a few times ......then TOLD a few times. To stop shooting off rockets as it was bogging down the sims.
I can't see the point in repeadedly launching these rockets. This is beta YES. The rockets are well known to CRASH sims. Even the Lindens know this all to well now. So knock it off!
Wait till they fix it so the rockets don't crash the sims!

Is this it particle system fix that is mentioned in the 0.3.4 release notes?
In a way, I hope it is not, as rockets make me angry, even without the sim crashing.

Well if it is supposed to be fixed, Its not....The sim went to a crawl as he launched them.
I wont stoop to the level of having a sim crashing war, but I will make it uncomfortable for this person in SL till he stops ruining the experience for everyone else, or till a Linden steps in and puts a halt to him.
Its amazing how fast bad behaviour can come between friends isn't it????

I agree, Charlie and with a newbie like me, I kept checking to see if someone had blown away the stuff I was building.  lol What do I know, but it did slow down everything and is surely annoying. Thanks for bringing it up. Peter

Charlie, you can say it was me! I launched 2 rockets your way... then I changed them so that they were simply shooting off the Sim. I was checking the "take off" and weight of the rockets. but I commented out the textures (particles)...
