Princessia the link you posted is down, but I have always admired his photography and had not heard that the died. When did this happen? I did not see it in the news.

I cannot believe you knew Nathan, Rose! He was my rl close friend. How did you know of his photography? I'm so excited someone here knew of him anyway. Some people seem to be born with a certain grace.. of all the negative and draining people I knew from my foolish youth, he was the bright spot. The biggest smile and the hugest heart. I looked up to him even though he was five years younger than me.

Here is the story of his untimely death only last Saturday.

Wow - he was so young.

I knew of him because he did an artistic nude (a pregnant woman who was half machine) that my husband went nuts over and had bought a poster of, which he shared with me. After that, I then started watching for more of his art.

I am very sorry for your loss of a friend and sorry that the world has lost a person with an exceptional view and an exception ability to express that view.

Thank you very much for your condolences Rose. Its some small, strange comfort to talk to anyone who knew of him and to share in the celebration of his life as well as the tragedy of his death. I've been telling everyone. Here in town everyone seems to know someone who knew him.

Eventually I hope to be able to commemorate his life and honor his memory in some more meaningful way, but right now I can't think. He brought out the best in others with his loving example and I can only hope to try to live up to it someday. Unlike a lot of tortured artist types, including myself, he was able to rise about his inner demons but still give honest expression to his art.
