Currently I have been looking for a larger piece of land in which to build a home. I currently live in Lusk but the land size is a mere 12x24 which is very difficult to work with. Most of the houses in our neighborhood all go together and fit within a theme of a suburban neighborhooh very nicely. Of course there is variation from style to style. Which I love as a whole. Now for the problems... The land size of 12x24 is a bit cramped and hard to work within most times. We all own small places and building up just isn't within our current them. No one there wants to see a 10 story high rise. The second part of the problem is ppl move in build something gawd awful then we never see them again. I would love to live in a residental neighborhood with lots being 24x24 currently all that land is owned by the lindens and not available. This realy isn't a themed neighborhood per say as everyone is free with their style of houses. With that said there are no nightclubs or stores and I happen to find that appealinig. Now I am not about to tell you of the eye sores near my street you only need to log in to find them lol. I have purchased land elsewhere only to release it back as it just wasn't home. Our neighborhood in Lusk is filled with friends and its very hard for me to leave. I would love to see the land at the end of the street opened up into 24x24 lots with streets just as our neighborhood is set up. I do not mind land restrictions such as no terriforming but i think basements should be allowed. As long as everyone sticks to the "neighborhood" theme I think it would be a great place to live. So now I am trying to make do on my 12x24 lot but I am not happy with the size. I love the people in my neighborhood and would love for us all to build a new neighborhood. I would love to hear everyones thoughts on this. Thankx Cat

That's a toughie, i've seen the Lusk Estates and was tempted to go there myself. Seems to be the only place 've seen that has taken the theme-community suburbia to heart and managed to make it look good. Plus there are alot of great people living there too.
Good luck Cat Cotton. Maybe you need a sim-job like what those folks in Dore are doing eh?

Zeb Well ya made me smile! Thank you Well I decided I love my neighborhood and even on a tiny piece of land I am going to try and Modify one of the House in a box kits. It has been a welcomed challenge in some respects and madening in others (durn trees getting in my field of vision!) You right our little nighborhood is something special and I guess I can always hope Linden makes the land near by a nice suburb for us In the mean time I spent a great deal of time just trying to come up with some plans and modify the kit. Hope it is still reconizeable but I cannot promiss that Thanks for the pick me up its much appreciated. Cat
